OUTDOOR ACTIVITIES
Daily physical activity has been proven to have a positive impact on learning. Our approach to the design and product selected has a learning at the heart of it. We recognize schools are always looking to raise standards and academic achievement. We work in partnership with secondary schools in creating environments to encourage high quality physical activity.
The development of the outdoor resource is being recognised more and more by Secondary schools as an effective way to engage young people in healthy physical activity.
SMART ROOM
It is a thing of the past when teaching and learning were restricted to classroom sessions prominent with white chalk, dusters and blackboards. Now is the era of smart classrooms which make learning fun through the use of digital equipment like the VCD or DVD player or laptops and computers, fitted to a projector.
Smart classes are conducted by a teacher using a viewing screen that is attached to the projector. Students will assimilate the audio-visual information that is projected on the screen and learn about the topic. This mode of learning and teaching presents a mixed bag of advantages and disadvantages.
COMPUTER LAB
At U.S. Ostwal English Academy the information & communication technology is integral part of curriculum, hence students are motivated for in-house research work.
SCIENCE LAB
It is always neccessary to go hand in hand with the modern world, to keep our students always updated, and hence to constantly upgrade them we have advanced systems in our spacious lab.
LIBRARY ROOM
The learning Centre is central to each student’s academic progress. In it we have shelf space for more books, with already a rich collection. In addition, students have access to periodical & audio-visual resources & internet facility. The Learning centre also supports the archiving of the school’s various learning resources & records.
MEDICAL ROOM
Our school has First Aid kits located at each and every floor. First Aid services are available to students, staff and visitors. Primary health check up is conducted for all students.
